WSP’s Oakland office provides a broad range of services in engineering and environmental sciences including environmental assessment and remediation, water/wastewater engineering, water resources, environmental compliance, geotechnical design, stormwater infrastructure design, materials testing, and decision analysis.\n\nYour Impact\n\nPerform Business Development within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial Sectors for environmental remediation, engineering and related services\n\nPerform design, oversight, mentorship and direct the efforts of staff- and project-level engineers\n\nAssist preparation of technical reports and proposals\n\nSuccessfully interact with Service Line Leader, Sector Lead, other Principal and Senior-level employees in the office and firm-wide\n\nManage multiple projects, being responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved\n\nTravel to project(s) as needed, for the execution of project goals and business development\n\nMeet sales, revenue and delivery goals\n\nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related Engineering field\n\nCalifornia (Civil) Professional Engineer’s License\n\n12+ years related environmental remediation and sales experience\n\nStrong work ethic\n\nStrong Project Management Experience\n\nMust be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nPrevious experience working with remediation/assessment projects involving the Regional Quality Water Quality Control Board, DTSC and/or one of the local CUPAs\n\nAbility to work with, mentor, and direct engineers and technicians\n\nCandidate should have experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other CalEPA Programs\n\nMust have consulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups in soil and groundwater including free floating products (LNAPL) AND/OR must have chlorinated solvent contamination consulting experience for remediation of soil and groundwater\n\nMust have consulting experience in soil gas and vapor intrusion issues\n\nDeveloping and managing complex engineering design and design-build projects\n\nOversee remedy construction and operation and maintenance of environmental project work\n\nMust pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s driving (Motor Vehicle Safety) policy\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred.\n\nBasic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.\n\nBenefits\nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
