The Project Manager acts as an extension of an owner’s design, construction and maintenance staff overseeing the work of general contractors, designers and vendors on behalf of the client teams. The Project Managers responsibilities include full multi-site program delivery of ground up and remodel projects consisting of pre-construction services (bid, permit, schedule), construction oversight (construction, change orders, invoicing, punchlists), and project closeout.\nThis is a remote based position with recurring travel on-site to project locations across Kansas, Oklahoma, and western Arkansas. Travel required (40-60%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDirects and coordinates the activities of field and vendor project team to ensure construction project progresses on schedule and within budget.\nExamines construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy.\nReviews bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information necessary to gain complete familiarity with the project.\nConfirms and verifies permitting requirements related to the project or program.\nDirectly manages and monitors project work in the field.\nDiligently manages change orders to projects.\nPrepares and provides weekly status reports for projects.\nProactively communicates project related issues directly with internal Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.\nFollows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.\nProactively identifies and solves or elevates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or qualify.\nRepresents Sevan and may lead in client update meetings.\nDevelops and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelors degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent; or\n5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nDemonstrated skills in commercial multi-site program management.\nExperience in multi-site, roll out projects, highly preferred.\nResides locally in SE Kansas or Tulsa, OK area\nAbility to travel on an as needed basis (40-60%) regionally across Kansas, Oklahoma, and western Arkansas\n5+ years experience building and/or managing programs for restaurant, fast food, quick serve commercial projects.\nProficient with construction technologies such as Procore, Smartsheet, Builder Trend, and others.\nWhy Join Sevan?\nAt Sevan, we believe in creating a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.
