This position will initially and primarily assist with Alarm Monitoring at the Pentagon, while also supporting broader cross-program coordination needs, including GEO SPI as a key secondary program, as the employee is cross-trained across multiple CenCore programs over the course of their employment. The ideal candidate is organized, mission-focused, and able to coordinate operational priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and adapt to evolving program requirements in a secure environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport project management and operational coordination for secure government programs, with an initial focus on Alarm Monitoring at the Pentagon.\nCoordinate with CenCore leadership, customer representatives, site personnel, and internal teams to support day-to-day program needs and mission continuity.\nAssist with alarm monitoring workflows, reporting, issue tracking, communications, and related operational documentation.\nParticipate in cross-training across additional programs, including GEO SPI, to build familiarity with CenCore processes, customer requirements, and operational support expectations.\nTrack program milestones, tasks, deliverables, risks, and follow-up items to ensure timely completion and clear accountability.\nPrepare and maintain clear reports, logs, meeting notes, status updates, and other documentation as required.\nSupport process improvement efforts by identifying gaps, communicating concerns, and helping implement practical solutions.\nMaintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail while working in secure government environments.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.\nActive TS/SCI clearance required.\n3+ years of project management, program coordination, operations support, or similar experience, preferably in government, defense, security, or mission-focused environments.\nExperience supporting alarm monitoring, security operations, command center operations, dispatch, emergency communications, or related operational environments preferred.\nAbility to learn and support multiple programs, processes, systems, and customer requirements through structured cross-training.\nAbility to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and common project tracking, reporting, communication, and documentation tools.\nStrong documentation, reporting, issue tracking, and follow-up skills.\nAbility to travel up to 10% as needed based on program requirements.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.\nPMP, CAPM, or related project management certification.\nPrior experience supporting government contracts, defense customers, secure facilities, or cleared operational environments.\nExperience with alarm monitoring systems, emergency response procedures, incident documentation, or security operations center support.\nExperience coordinating across multiple programs, teams, customers, or operational workstreams, including secondary program support such as GEO SPI.\n\nWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements\nAbility to work in secure government facility and operational support environments.\nAbility to work on-site in Arlington, VA, including support connected to Pentagon alarm monitoring operations.\nAbility to follow all site access, safety, security, confidentiality, and customer procedures.\nAbility to review documentation, participate in meetings, provide status updates, and communicate clearly with internal and customer stakeholders.\nSchedule and travel requirements may vary based on program requirements, customer needs, and operational priorities.\nCompany Overview\nAt CenCore Group, we deliver security solutions that support critical national security missions.
