The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting quality checks on products during various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring that all products meet our strict quality and safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuality Inspections\nPerform routine and random inspections of products on the production line.\nCheck for defects, quality deviations, and ensure compliance with specifications.\nData Recording\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality checks.\nReport any quality issues or trends to the QC Supervisor.\nCompliance and Standards Adherence\nEnsure that production processes and products comply with internal and external quality standards.\nUnderstand and apply relevant food safety regulations.\nProblem Identification and Escalation\nQuickly identify quality issues or deviations from standards.\nEscalate significant quality issues to supervisors for immediate action.\nEquipment Calibration and Maintenance\nAssist in the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.\nEnsure that all measuring instruments are functioning correctly.\nSafety and Cleanliness\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.\nFollow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with other departments to improve product quality.\nParticipate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.\nOther Duties as assigned\nRequirements:\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.\nExperience\nPrior experience in quality control or in production in the food industry.\nFamiliarity with quality control standards and food safety regulations.\nSkills\nGood observational and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBasic computer and data entry skills.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.\nCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds.\nWorking Conditions\nThis position may require working in various conditions including cold and hot environments, and handling of food products.\nEnvironmental Working Conditions\nEmployees in this role will work in both production and warehouse environments. The work areas are semi–climate controlled, which means temperatures may vary depending on seasonal conditions. Employees may be exposed to fluctuations in heat or cold, moderate noise levels, and moving production equipment.
