Coordinate and execute plans to obtain and/or maintain certification for IATF 16949 and ISO-9001 and to current automotive international applicable standard. Responsible for helping achieve customer / supplier quality expectations, production requirements, scrap and re-work requirements. Provide guidance to managers to interpret, implement and communicate policies and procedures.\nQualifications: (knowledge, skills and abilities):\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.\n3+ years quality control automotive manufacturing experience required\nQuality Management System (QMS) and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 experience\nImplement and maintain all quality system requirements, including APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements.\nStrong communication and leadership skills.\nPrimary Position Responsibilities:\nEnsure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.\nLead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts\nValidate supplier product quality through quality control plans, inspection criteria, and sampling procedures.\nDevelop and implement quality system improvements to comply with business plan goals\nResponsible for quality system internal and external audits.\nVerification of countermeasure effectiveness.\nDevelop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Charts and Process Capability Studies.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience:\nGood oral and written communication skills\nStrong leadership skills\nAbility to communicate with all levels of Associates and outside contacts\nAbility to work independently from general supervision\nExcellent organization skills with ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames\nProficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nAbility to read and comprehend engineering specifications and drawings\nProficient knowledge of manufacturing process\nReporting to this position:\nNo Direct Reports to this Position\n\nPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
