Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports bottling and packaging operations by performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance on production machinery and facility systems while upholding strict safety and food safety standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, including bottling lines, conveyors, filling systems, and packaging equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated systems to restore equipment to proper operation.Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, valves, and HVAC systems to support reliable plant operations.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.Perform electrical diagnostics, including work on wiring, sensors, and control systems, up to 480V.Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and support continuous operations.Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.Ensure adherence to company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records using maintenance systems and documentation tools.Collaborate closely with production teams to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and overall line performance.Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, vibration analyzers, and thermal imaging devices to identify and resolve equipment issues.Support maintenance of blow molding and injection molding equipment used in plastic-related processes, as needed.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices in a manufacturing or bottling environment.Proficiency in mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, compressors, valves, and associated components.Proficiency in electrical systems up to 480V, including wiring, sensors, and control systems.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, including platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens.Hands-on experience with pneumatics and hydraulics in production equipment.Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on PLC-controlled and automated systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, vibration analyzers, and thermal imaging devices.Experience performing preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective repairs on production machinery.Experience troubleshooting and maintaining blow molding and injection molding equipment in plastic-related operations.Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and maintenance history.High school diploma or GED.Approximately 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food and beverage, or bottling industry preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick) preferred.Experience working in a bottling, packaging, or food and beverage production environment.Experience with automated packaging lines, conveyors, and filling systems.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting and respond quickly to equipment issues.Strong communication skills to collaborate with production and maintenance teams.Attention to detail and strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate maintenance records.Commitment to following safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Why Work Here?You will work in a dynamic production environment where your technical expertise directly supports reliable operations and continuous improvement.
