Grinder Norvelt, PA CHS has partnered with a long-standing local manufacturer to add a reliable and safety-conscious Grinding Room Operator to their team. This role involves grinding glass materials into fine powder, adding color agents when required, and maintaining a clean, well-organized work area. Ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who values hands-on, steady-paced work in a safety-driven environment. Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Pay: $18.00/hour Temp-to-Hire What You'll DoLoad glass product into grinder using a scoop to process materials into powder formAdd coloring agents to batches as specified by production requirementsWear appropriate PPE, including respirator, gloves, safety glasses, and lumbar support belt when lifting 25+ lbsMaintain cleanliness in the grinding areaObserve and comply with all company safety and environmental policies What We're Looking For:Prior manufacturing experience highly preferredStrong commitment to safety and proper use of PPEAbility to work in a dusty environment while maintaining quality standardsPhysically capable of standing, lifting, and performing manual tasks throughout the shiftReliable, detail-oriented, and willing to follow all safety training and procedures
