We are looking for a candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment, has a strong grasp of modern technologies and a data-first mindset, and is comfortable balancing hands-on development with technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration. Python FastAPI experience is also beneficial.\nExperience building responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with React.js or similar frontend frameworks.\nWorking knowledge of RESTful APIs, system integrations, web services, and microservice-based applications.\nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB, with an understanding of database design and query optimization.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS) and cloud-based application deployment and support.\nExperience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices in an Agile environment.\nExperience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar) to improve productivity, generate code and documentation, assist with testing, troubleshoot issues, and accelerate software development.\nUnderstanding of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and API security principles.\nAbility to lead technical discussions with junior developers, explain architectural decisions, provide mentoring, and guide effective troubleshooting and defect resolution.\nExperience conducting detailed code reviews and enforcing coding standards, design patterns, documentation expectations, testing practices, and source-control discipline.\nDemonstrated comfort working in established and legacy codebases, with the judgment to modernize systems incrementally while protecting business continuity and production stability.\nAbility to communicate directly with stakeholders and end users, gather requirements, manage expectations, and convert operational needs into clear technical requirements.\nCustomer-focused troubleshooting skills and the ability to support field-facing production applications in a timely, professional, and practical manner.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality software.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\nDemonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing business needs, and continuously improve technical skills.\nEducation and Experience:\n3+ years of SW development experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\nPrior professional experience within the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or telecommunications industry is strongly preferred.\nExperience building software from the ground-up, creating standards, guidelines, and development methods.\nExperience and understanding of enterprise level agile processes.\nExperience in Jira, building software using Scrum.\nExperience mentoring junior developers, leading architecture and code-quality discussions, and supporting the modernization of legacy software systems.\nJob Classification:\nSoftware Development\nExempt\nWork Environment/Hazards:\nWorking conditions primarily inside an office environment\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\nHigh level of interaction with external/internal clients\nOccasionally at data center locations exposed to loud data center conditions.\nOccasionally on site outdoors in the elements\nPhysical Demands:\nStationary position for 8-10 hours a day\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\nVisual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity are necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.\nTo perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position.
