Purchasing Manager

Title: Purchasing Manager Company Overview: A leading manufacturer of building products is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team across North America. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading all procurement activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials, goods, and services required to support business operations. This role plays a critical part in optimizing supplier performance, managing costs, and ensuring operational continuity through effective purchasing strategies and vendor management.Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, services, etc. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost) and address and issues proactively. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements. Collaborate with operations, planning, engineering and finance. Manage and develop a team of buyers and procurement specialists. Key Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field 5+ years of supply chain experience ideally within a manufacturing environment Proficiency in ERP systems Strong analytical and decision making experience
