People like you.\nVisit our\ncareers\npage to see what exciting opportunities and company\nperks\nawait!\nJob Description:\nThe Associate Analyst - Import / Export position as part of the Global Trade Compliance group will be responsible for determination and maintenance of import/export classifications in support of Microchip’s global operations while complying with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) regulations, U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Control International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and certain other Country Regulations.\nThis position will also complete daily classification reports to support logistics and sales in the timely release of compliance holds.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the determination and maintenance of import / export classification to all business units.\nSupport general import / export classification requests from logistics teams.\nCommunicate with business unit partners to address classification matters.\nMaintain export control data including but not limited to ECCN, HTS, and USML Category.\nMaintain classification records in accordance with US Government Agencies and company requirements.\nAdhere to process documentation and present opportunities to improve business processes.\nSupport and collaborate with internal business partners to ensure best in class practices are embedded into business functions.\nPerform additional duties as assigned by the manager.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n2 years of relevant experience of admin support in logistics or supply chain.\n2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment\nProficient with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software’s such as BAAN, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics AX, etc.\nProficiency with Excel functionality\nRequired Aptitudes and Qualities\nGood organizational and problem-solving skills. Possess the ability to task switch according to changing priorities and deadlines.\nAttention to detail.\nAbility to work independently with minimal management direction.\nPositive attitude and business acumen.\nExceptional analytical, written, & verbal communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nLanguage\nMust be fluent in English.\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
