Help Desk System Administrator Level II

Level II IT Field Technician- Job Posting Scribnet, a trusted provider of IT solutions and Managed Services, has an exciting opportunity for a Level II IT Field Technician to join our team of professionals! We are seeking an experienced technician who loves a challenge and is committed to exceeding client expectations. The Level II IT Field Technician is a client-facing, hands-on technical position that combines helpdesk escalation support with infrastructure deployment and maintenance. Specific duties include the below: · Providing in-person technical support at client sites for escalated issues. · Deploying, installing and configuring workstations, servers and networking equipment. · Performing on-site diagnostics and maintenance on infrastructure components. · Configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and access points. · Performing server patching, firmware upgrades and infrastructure optimization. · Supporting Microsoft 365 migrations, AD management and backup recovery testing. · Working directly with clients in a professional manner in-person, via phone and electronically. · Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service continuity. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Computer Science · CompTIA Security+ · Minimum of three years working in IT support or systems engineering · In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, networking fundamentals and hardware support · Proficient with VLANs, VPNs and firewall configuration · Strong troubleshooting skills · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills · Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel to client sites · Must be able to pass background checks and provide proof of IT certifications · CCNA (preferred) · Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) (preferred) · Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) (preferred) Pay: $75,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, VA
