This role serves as both a technical subject matter expert and customer-facing partner, working closely with steel producers to optimize product applications and improve operational performance.This position requires regular travel to customer sites to provide technical support, manage product trials, and collaborate with customers on process improvements.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with steelmaking customers, serving as a technical advisor and product expertProvide on-site technical support and product guidance to help customers improve operational performanceCollaborate with the sales team to support business growth and expand market shareManage and oversee product trials, testing, and conversion processes at customer facilitiesSupport the introduction and implementation of new products and technologiesProvide technical support during new business development and contract discussionsWork cross-functionally with R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfactionAnalyze product performance and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunitiesLead and manage corrective action investigations and follow-up initiativesHelp maintain and strengthen existing customer partnershipsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in steel manufacturing, preferably supporting continuous casting operationsStrong technical understanding of steel production and casting processesAbility to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and technical teams to solve problems and improve product performanceStrong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skillsWillingness and ability to travel regularly to customer sitesPhysical RequirementsAbility to travel frequently to customer facilitiesAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without assistanceAbility to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move within industrial environmentsInterested in hearing more?
