We will be accepting applications through June 26, 2026 or until filled.--- --- ---As a Gogo Intern: Cybersecurity Infrastructure Technician, you will be a key member of our cybersecurity team, responsible for the overall cybersecurity program at Gogo Business Aviation. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and learn from a team of passionate cybersecurity professionals.This role will involve you in real-world cybersecurity assessments, where you will help to protect our commercial products from cyber threats.COME ON BOARD THE GOGO CYBERSECURITY TEAM!How will you make a difference?Prepare and execute a cybersecurity plan for a commercial product, gaining hands-on experience in a live environmentConduct penetration testing and recommend mitigation steps to address vulnerabilitiesUse network analysis and penetration testing tools to identify and document security weaknessesTrack project tasks, provide status updates, and ensure that tasks are completed on scheduleContribute to improving our processes, tooling, and infrastructure by researching and introducing new network, analysis, and penetration toolsHelp guide the implementation of best practices for software and network securityResearch threat intelligence sources to develop a program and present your findings to senior leadershipUse our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to monitor for potential malicious activityQualificationsWorking towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldYou must be enrolled in an accredited schoolPreferred Skills, Academic Experience And TalentsExposure to Risk Assessment and Threat ModelingAn interest in learning about password cracking toolsUnderstanding of the analysis and mitigation of cyber threatsKnowledge of cryptography and cryptographic weaknessesFamiliarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001Experience with cloud security (AWS & Azure) is a plusKnowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) toolsFamiliarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutionsInterns are full-fledged members of the team, engaged from day one through structured training, mentorship, a diverse set of experiences, a network of peers across the company, and leadership opportunities.
