Our client is seeking a meticulous Engineering Test Technician to join our team, where you will play a mission-critical role in the assembly, checkout, and functional testing of advanced electro-mechanical systems. If you thrive on technical problem-solving, can read a schematic like a roadmap, and apply precision troubleshooting to ensure world-class quality, this is your opportunity to directly influence the performance of next-generation manufacturing platforms.\nsalary: $21 - $26 per hour\nshift: First\nwork hours: 5 PM - 4 AM\neducation: Associate\n\nResponsibilities\nPerforms routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools, and test fixtures.\nMay test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.\nMay perform new system and NPI (New Product Introduction) installations and field upgrades.\nWorks from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.\nCompiles logbooks and test procedures documentation utilizing good writing skills.\nMay perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms to Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.\nObserves all safety standards, maintains a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment, and attends required health and safety training.\nBecomes familiar with current manufacturing and/or engineering processes and stays informed of any changes in procedures, assisting in the correction of problems.\nMay perform rework as a result of testing and generates Quality Notifications\nThe essential functions of this role include:\n\nworking in a smoke free environment\nwearing steel toe shoes\nworking in a non-temperature controlled environment\nstanding for 9 hours at one time\nworking up to 10 hrs of overtime per week\nworking weekends\n\nSkills\nInspecting\nBlueprint Reading\nElectrical Engineering\nMechanical Engineering\nTesting\nschematics\nmultimeter\nhand tools\nMechanical Maintenance\n\nQualifications\nYears of experience: 3 years\nExperience level: Experienced\n\nRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
