Do you have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and want to take the next step in your career?\n\nAt *Toward Independence*, our Program Coordinators play an important role in making sure the individuals we support receive high-quality services while helping our staff grow and succeed.\n\nIf you're organized, compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!\n\n*What You Get To Do as a Program Coordinator.*\n\nLead & Develop Your Team\n\n* Provide regular feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance.\n* Help ensure staff have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.\n* Conduct staff meetings and participate in required trainings.\n* Support supervisors in developing their leadership and management skills.\n\nSupport the Individuals We Serve\n\n* Ensure individuals receive the services and supports outlined in their Individual Plans.\n* Advocate for individuals' rights, choices, health, safety, and well-being.\n* Build positive relationships with individuals, families, staff, and community partners.\n\nKeep Programs Running Smoothly\n\n* Develop and monitor staffing schedules based on individual needs and staffing requirements.\n* Conduct regular visits to assigned homes to monitor operations, cleanliness, safety, and quality of services.\n* Monitor service documentation, medication administration, healthcare appointments, and other program requirements.\n* Assist with Individual Plan meetings and implementation.\n\nBe a Leader When It Matters\n\n* Participate in an on-call rotation.\n* Provide support during staffing or operational challenges.\n* Make sound decisions when unexpected situations arise.\n* Serve as a backup to the Supervisor and Nurse when needed.\n* Step in and provide direct support when necessary.\n\n*What You'll Need*\n\n* *Bachelor's degree *in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Business, or a related field *preferred.*\n* At least *2 years of experience working in the developmental disabilities field.*\n* Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.\n* Valid driver's license, with *5 or fewer points*, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.\n* Ability to successfully complete required background and registry checks.\n\n*What we offer our Program Coordinators*\n\n* *Paid Time Off -
