Engineer","description":"POSITION: Quality Engineer II\nLOCATION: Jupiter, FL\nSTATUS: Salary Exempt\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:\nReview and processing Non-conformance records\nUnderstanding of effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.\nAssist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.\nResponsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system and the Parts Delivery Network\nResponsible for maintaining Internal Controls and the coordination of all controls for the Parts Delivery Network.\nInterface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved processes\nSupport the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.\nConduct internal audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.\nAnalyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.\nCreate and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality plans, inspection procedures, APQP, etc.\nPreparation of QA reports and metrics.\nTraining, coaching and re-direction of employees and peers as required\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation & Training\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant field\nMust complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix\n\nSkills/Experience\n2+ years of experience in a quality environment with understanding of manufacturing terminology and best practices.\nAdvanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as applied in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements and associated documentation.\nProven work history in positions requiring organization, attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking, and documentation.\nDemonstration of advanced competency in both verbal and written communication.\nDemonstration of advanced competency in problem solving collaboration.\nProficiency with MS Office Professional.\nAbility to understand and interpret statistics using minitab, matlab or similar\nAbility to travel upon request, with or without advance notice.\n\nEqual Opportunity
