This role is designed to provide hands-on experience while working alongside experienced technicians on job sites.Interns will be exposed to a variety of systems and projects, including:Sectional overhead doorsRolling steel doorsHigh-speed doorsSliding doors and operable partitionsDock levelers and gate operatorsThis internship is ideal for individuals interested in construction management, project management, mechanical work, construction trades, and learning how job sites operate day-to-day.What You'll DoAssist technicians with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial door and dock systemsLearn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniquesSupport job site setup, material handling, and cleanupHelp load, unload, and organize tools and materialsObserve and learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsFollow all OSHA and job site safety requirementsGain experience operating equipment (as appropriate and supervised)Represent Lensing professionally while working with team members and customersWhat We're Looking ForInterest in construction, mechanical, or electrical tradesStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentComfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditionsAbility to perform physical tasks and work at heights (with training)Reliable transportation and punctual attendanceNo Experience?
