Cake Decorator

The Snackery Bakeshop in Rye, NY is just a short MTA ride from the NYC. We are seeking a cake decorator to join our growing family! Our decorators is responsible for the daily preparation and timely production of our custom cake and cupcake detail, monogrammed cookie tarts, treats and pastry items including cookies, pies, tarts, and various other unique baked goods offered at The Snackery. Walking distance to train Please include resume when applying Job Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years professional experience in a baking/pastry production or similar role in a high-volume environment Must have the ability to monitor and maintain quality control standards Ability to work both independently and as a team, resourcefully, and meet hard deadlines Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift, carry, push, pull and meet all physical demands of the position Professional work ethic and effective communication skills Management skills to confidently run a team of decorators efficiently and effectively.. Salery- TBD based on experience Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
