They provide 24/7 shift coverage with 12‑hour shifts, rotating shifts, and 3‑, 4‑ or 5‑day work weeks.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities\n\nWalk job sites in uneven terrain.\n\nWork at heights and from ladders.\n\nRegularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds; participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.\n\nBend or twist the body into unusual positions while working.\n\nPush or pull heavy objects into position.\n\nWork in noisy environments.\n\nOperate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center.\n\nTroubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within internal SLAs.\n\nPerform limited maintenance tasks including filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements.\n\nProvide support to Data Center Operations technicians.\n\nPerform root cause analysis of equipment failures.\n\nEnsure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.\n\nWork a 12‑hour shift (rotating 3‑ and 4‑day work weeks).\n\nTake daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).\n\nUtilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows and spare part inventory.\n\nSupervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance.\n\nRespond to off‑hour emergency calls per on‑call rotation for any one of the region’s sites.\n\nFully comply with all physical security procedures and policies.\n\nDrive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.\n\nManipulate small wires and objects.\n\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\n\n3+ years of maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment.\n\nCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAssociate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.\n\nData Center Operations Experience or experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission‑critical environment (military, telecom, etc.).\n\nFundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling.\n\nExperience with building management systems (BMS and EPMS control systems) and data collection/trending.\n\nOperating engineering license(s) such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent, Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License, CFC license (Universal or minimum Type II), and/or NFPA 70E Cert.\n\nBenefits\nThe base salary range for this position is USD 37.00–65.00 hourly .
