Epilepsy Neurologist - Physician

Job Summary Geisinger Neuroscience Institute is seeking an epilepsy‑trained neurologist to join the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center team in Wilkes Barre, PA. Job Duties This position is based in Wilkes-Barre and is supported by a system‑wide care team consisting of eight fellowship‑trained epileptologists, four advanced practice providers, two functional neurosurgeons, and dedicated nurse navigator support to manage our epilepsy practice and Level 4 epilepsy center. Responsibilities include participating in a rotation that includes out‑patient clinics, in‑patient epilepsy management, long‑term video EEG reads (using a shift rotation, not call), and epilepsy surgery. Qualifications Ideal candidate: graduate of an accredited epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology fellowship program, strong clinical skills, interest in teaching, and experience with epilepsy surgery. Teaching experience is encouraged as medical students and new residency programs are available for collaboration.
