This role ensures that the manufacturing floor has timely access to necessary tools and materials, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports the maintenance team in their operations. The Crib Attendant plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency by ensuring that all tools and supplies are available, well-maintained, and properly stored.Key ResponsibilitiesTool and Equipment Management: Issue tools, equipment, and MRO supplies to production and maintenance personnel as needed. Ensure that all tools and equipment are returned in good condition and accounted for. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records of all tools, equipment, and supplies within the crib. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Track tool usage and life cycle to forecast replacement needs and avoid shortages.Procurement and Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to replenish stock as needed. Work with the procurement team to source and order new tools, equipment, and supplies. Ensure timely delivery and proper storage of incoming materials.
