This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned DSM products and ensuring programs meet regulatory, operational, and financial objectives.\nThe selected candidate will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, vendors, trade partners, and regulatory stakeholders while supporting energy efficiency initiatives within a highly collaborative environment.\n\nPosition Overview\nThis role supports regulated DSM utility programs designed to incentivize customers to adopt energy-efficient technologies. The “product” being managed is a utility program rather than a physical product.\nResponsibilities include ownership of program execution, forecasting, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.\nThe work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly dynamic, requiring a candidate who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and operating within ambiguity.\n\nProgram Manager Responsibilities\nManage the day-to-day operations of assigned DSM programs/products\nForecast budgets and monitor program performance against filed goals\nMaintain compliance with regulatory requirements and program documentation\nManage program rules, updates, and customer-facing collateral\nCoordinate with vendors, trade allies, contractors, and internal stakeholders\nSupport projects and workflow management within Salesforce CRM\nParticipate in meetings with internal sales teams, vendors, and leadership\nAssist with process documentation and internal/external training efforts\nSupport regulatory testimony, filings, and reporting activities as needed\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve program delivery and execution\nRequired Qualifications\n3–5+ years of experience in Program Management or Product Management\nExperience with budgeting and forecasting\nStrong Salesforce CRM experience\nExcellent stakeholder and relationship management skills\nStrong Microsoft Office proficiency\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nAbility to work effectively within ambiguous and evolving environments\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within regulated industries such as utilities, energy, government, or large enterprise organizations\nUtility industry experience preferred (electric, gas, water, etc.)\nPMP certification is a plus\nExposure to reporting dashboards or analytics tools such as Power BI\nExperience presenting to internal and external stakeholders\nIdeal Candidate Background\nUtility or energy organizations\nRegulated industries\nGovernment or large bureaucratic organizations\nEnergy efficiency or sustainability programs\nProduct or program lifecycle management roles\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
