Job description:Full Job Description Human Resources Manager (Onsite – Minneapolis, MN)Koehler & Dramm is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and execute all aspects of the HR function in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for employee relations, compliance, recruiting, payroll, benefits, and supporting a strong workplace culture.This position serves as both a strategic partner and operational leader, working closely with management while also handling day-to-day HR responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Employee SupportManage daily HR operations to ensure efficiency and complianceServe as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and issue resolutionMaintain accurate and compliant personnel recordsPromote a positive employee experienceEmployee Relations & Performance ManagementPartner with managers on employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actionsProvide coaching and guidance on performance management and employee developmentSupport performance reviews and implement performance improvement plansFoster a culture of accountability and engagementCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsAdminister PFML, workers’ compensation, and other leave programsMaintain and update HR policies and proceduresRepresent the company in audits, investigations, and hearingsTalent Acquisition & OnboardingLead full-cycle recruiting across all departmentsPartner with leadership on workforce planningConduct onboarding and new hire orientationManage temporary labor staffing and related invoicingPayroll, Compensation & BenefitsProcess and oversee bi-weekly payrollMaintain payroll records and respond to employee inquiriesAdminister benefits, including 401(k) and vendor coordinationAnalyze and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits programsEngagement & CulturePlan and coordinate employee events and engagement initiativesSupport employee retention and morale effortsHelp build a collaborative, team-oriented work environmentLeadership & AdministrationParticipate in management meetings and provide HR insightSupervise administrative staff as neededManage vendor relationships and reconcile invoicesRecommend improvements to HR processes and policiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredMinimum of 3+ years of progressive HR experienceMinimum 1 year of payroll experienceExperience with PFML, workers’ compensation, and complianceStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsHR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)Leadership experienceExperience in a fast-paced or warehouse environmentScheduleMonday to FridayPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 20 lbs occasionallyEqual Opportunity EmployerKoehler & Dramm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
