The ideal candidate is one who is equally comfortable with hands-on hardware testing and software development/test automation.\n\nYour job responsibilities include the following while working with a multi-discipline team, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, & Production.\n\nCollaborate with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features.\nDesign and implement calibration algorithms.\nDesigns, develops, debugs, evaluate and executes validation and verification tests.\nDesigns, develops, debugs and turn-on test boards and test fixtures for the purpose of Design for Manufacturing (DFM)\nManage instrument hardware and the measurement, characterization, and calibration processes used during the NPI development phase and into production.\nDesign and/or modify test stations, analyze test data and make product specification recommendations.\nCreate technical documentation.\nReview/Evaluate and participate in setting production line specifications based on statistical data analysis.\nEvaluates and specifies components that make up the products and extends product life via parts replacement.\nManage and guide the transition of products and manufacturing processes into production and through the entire life cycle of the product.\nAfter product release, continue to manage engineering responsibilities for the system, hardware and production processes.\n\n#LI-MO1\nQualifications:\nRequired Experience and Skills:\n\nBS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, with experience in RF and uW circuits/products development with measurement algorithm and validation test development experience\nExtensive experience and knowledge in test & measurements with focus on RF and Microwave theory and applications\nExperience in developing SW in object-oriented programming.\nDesire to work with worldwide groups and across teams of engineers to achieve objectives.\nProficient at testing and troubleshooting RF, analog, digital circuits.\n\nDesired Requirements:\n\nAbility to effectively communicate ideas and concepts in both written and oral form.\nPropensity for engaging in proactive issue discovery and resolution actions and activities.\nMeasurement experience in one or more of the following areas, signal generators, Signal analyzers, I/Q generation, time domain analysis and vector network analysis\nExperience working in a manufacturing and/or product development role.\nExperience in Statistical Analysis, Six Sigma and process improvement\nAbility to formulate, implement and debug measurement algorithms in modern, object-oriented test development environments.\nProficient in calculating measurement uncertainties.\n\nSanta Rosa, CA MIN $76,000.00 - MAX $128,000.00\n\nMost offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.\n\nVisa Sponsorship: Not available for this position.
