In this role, you will collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational experience who is eager to grow in the SRE discipline. SRE Engineers participate in various aspects of the life cycle, test, and support process, such as:\n\nAssist in monitoring and maintaining system reliability across production environments.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to implement automation for deployment and operations.\n\nHelp troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.\n\nContribute to documentation and process improvements for system reliability.\n\nLearn and apply best practices in observability, performance tuning, and capacity planning.\n\nRequired technical and professional expertise\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\nBasic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.\n\nFamiliarity with at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar).\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.\n\nPreferred technical and professional experience\nExposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).\n\nUnderstanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).\n\nIBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer.
