Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.\n\nJob Requirements\n\nAt Least 5 years of experience working in software development with minimum 2 years of working experience in Python or any other object oriented programming language.\nDomain knowledge in institutional financial services, lending and borrowing products.\nFamiliarity with modern web technologies like AWS cloud, MySQL database, Redis caching, messaging tools like Kafka/SQS, Kubernetes etc and good understanding of trade-offs with one technology vs another.\nHave a good understanding of object oriented design patterns to make sure the codebase is maintainable and extensible.\nHave a good understanding of operating systems concepts like multi-threading, multi-processing\nComfort working in a highly agile, intensively iterative software development process.\nDemonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions\nDemonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term.\n\nBonus Criteria\n\nStrong familiarity with credit: this includes, but is not limited to, customer-side credit lending and firm-side borrowing, margin lending, credit risk (loss probability and recoveries), balance sheet usage, and cash flow modeling\nCandidates with a strong computer science background. Bachelor's degree in computer science\nExperience with frontend technologies like react, javascript\nExperience working in an early stage product startups\n\nThis role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance-linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
