Join us and be part of a company where your impact truly matters.What You'll Do As An Apartment Make ReadyPrepare and restore vacant apartments for new resident move-insPerform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance and repairsRepair or service items such as sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, and fixturesChange bulbs; replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, and damaged hardwareInspect locks, keys, and weather stripping; re-key or repair as neededComplete interior and exterior painting and caulkingPerform light drywall repairs including patching, texturing, sanding and finishingAssist with grounds upkeep including trash pickup, blowing breezeways, pressure washing, and maintaining clean common areasWork closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completionUphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the communityWhat We're Looking for in the Apartment Make Ready Technician:Prior apartment make ready experience REQUIREDBasic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilitiesStrong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workValid driver's license and reliable transportationA personal set of basic hand toolsThe ability to lift 40-50 lbsDependability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitudeImportant: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.Working EnvironmentThis role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying items as part of daily porter responsibilities. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
