We're looking for a factory technology leader who bridges infrastructure and manufacturing operations — someone who can design a secure and scalable network, manage IT systems, support production, understand factory workflows, and lead system integration across ERP, MES, WMS, QMS, and shop floor equipment.The ideal candidate brings strong infrastructure and networking expertise, hands-on factory IT experience, and the drive to build technology systems for a new manufacturing facility from scratch.About the RoleThe MIS / Factory IT Senior Manager will serve as the senior technology leader for our Hutto facility, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the full IT and manufacturing systems infrastructure across production, quality, warehouse, logistics, engineering, and facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage facility IT infrastructure: networks, servers, storage, workstations, industrial PCs, wireless, firewalls, backup, and endpoint securityImplement and integrate manufacturing systems: MES, ERP, WMS, QMS, SPC, calibration, and production reporting toolsSupport IT/OT convergence across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, production equipment, and automated linesEnsure secure, accurate data flow between enterprise and shop floor systems; support real-time production visibility and traceabilityDevelop and enforce cybersecurity policies, access controls, and compliance procedures aligned with ISO 9001Build and lead the facility IT/MIS team; manage vendors, system integrators, and software partnersDefine the technology roadmap and lead digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiativesManage IT/MIS Capex and Opex budgetsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field8+ years in IT, MIS, infrastructure, or factory technology environment5+ years in IT operations or factory IT leaderHands-on expertise in network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, wireless)Experience with manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, WMS, QMS, SPC) and factory workflowsSolid understanding of IT/OT integration and OT cybersecurityStrong project management and cross-functional leadership skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced greenfield environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in robotics, optical systems, precision electronics, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturingHands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP platformsBackground in implementing MES, WMS, QMS, barcode/RFID, or traceability systemsGreenfield or new factory build experienceKnowledge of Industry 4.0, IIoT, and smart manufacturingExperience with Asia-based manufacturing organizations (Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean)PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Microsoft)Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/Spanish a plusWhy Roboptic?
