Join us and be part of a team that values quality, integrity and community—while helping shape the future of manufacturing.\n\nHealth Insurance\n\nVision Insurance\n\n401K with company match\n\n6 Paid Holidays\n\nBirthday Off Paid\n\nVacation – two weeks in your FIRST year!\n\nCompany Events\n\nSummer Food Trucks\n\nFree coffee\n\nIncentive Program.\n\nAnd much more!\n\nJob Description\nSUMMARY\nPlans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in manufacturing plant by performing the following duties.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nReads blueprints and job order for specifications such as dimensions, tolerances and tooling instructions.\n\nDevelops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.\n\nDevelops routings, methods and time standards for production job orders.\n\nDesigns work holding fixtures for machining, welding and/or fabrication.\n\nConfers with tool manufacturing representatives to ensure proper usage of tooling and efficient production methods.\n\nAnalyzes drawings, sketches and design data of part to determine fixturing requirements, dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates.\n\nConfers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes.\n\nOutlines sequence of operations required to fabricate part.\n\nCreates flat layout geometry from formed drawing views to be used for laser programming.\n\nOrganizes and maintains storage of all digital drawing files.\n\nManages capital projects under general supervision; plans, conducts and supervises assignments normally involving several smaller or less important projects or one major project.\n\nMaintains liaison with manufacturing and sales. Reviews progress and evaluates results; makes changes in methods design or equipment when necessary.\n\nImplements lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nDesigns workflows, layouts and production lines for optimal performance.\n\nSelects, installs and maintains machinery and tools required for production.\n\nWorks closely with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of products.\n\nPrepares technical documentation, process instructions and reports.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nAssociate’s degree or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school and/or 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior CNC, weldments and sheet‑metal layout experience is mandatory. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and GD&T are also required.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
