The candidate will collaborate closely with application teams, business analysts, QA, and production support teams in a highly controlled enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views for core banking and enterprise platformsWrite and optimize high-performance SQL queries supporting large data volumes and near-real-time processingPerform PL/SQL and SQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies to meet SLA requirementsSupport business-critical batch jobs, end-of-day (EOD) processing, and scheduled data flowsCollaborate with Business Analysts and Upstream/Downstream application teams to interpret functional requirementsProvide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for data-related issuesEnsure adherence to Citi SDLC, change management, security, audit, and compliance standardsSupport data migration, data reconciliation, and ETL processesPrepare and maintain technical documentation, code reviews, and release artifactsWork in Agile / Scrum or controlled waterfall delivery models as per Citi program governanceMandatory Technical Skills:Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL & SQLExperience with Oracle Database (12c / 19c)Advanced knowledge of stored procedures, packages, triggers, cursors, collectionsPerformance tuning using explain plans, indexes, partitionsExperience in Unix/Linux environmentsProficiency with Oracle SQL Developer / TOADExperience supporting production systems in a regulated environmentBanking Specific Experience (Preferred):Experience working in Banking or Financial Services domainExposure to high-availability systems, data controls, reconciliation, and audit requirementsUnderstanding of SOX, data security, segregation of duties, and change governanceFamiliarity with large transactional datasets and batch processing architectureGood to Have:Exposure to ETL tools, controlM / AutoSys / scheduler toolsShell scripting (Unix)Data modeling and schema designExperience working with global teams and offshore–onsite delivery modelEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology or equivalentSoft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder coordinationAbility to work under strict SLAs and production deadlinesAttention to detail and compliance mindsetMandatory Skills: Oracle SQL. Experience: 5-8 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
