Safety Specialist

A leading MEP contractor is looking to appoint a Safety Specialist in the south Milwaukee area. This role will involve heavy relationship building, boots-on-the-ground safety leadership, and strong career growth opportunities. The Role: Day-to-day job site inspections, accident investigations, trainings, and audits. Once established in the role, writing plans and identifying key areas for improvement. Building strong relationships with operational staff - on the jobsite with the field team and in an office setting. Travelling across the region to jobsites (day trips). Work in partnership with the Safety Director in highlighting key safety metrics/trends/areas of improvement on projects. Will have supportive, engaged leadership, but the role will demand an autonomous problem-solver. The Candidate: Previous EHS experience required; Construction preferred. Based in the Milwaukee area, and able to travel to job sites throughout the region (reports out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin). A strong communicator and relationship-builder who is passionate about safety and who can make a strong, proactive impact. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or other related discipline (preferred).
