cyber-related enhancements to afloat and enterprise network architectures, ensuring the engineering and technical integrity of PMW 160 systems (e.g., CANES, ADNS, and integrated tactical network baselines) across Surface, Subsurface, and Shore platforms.\n\nRepresent engineering interests at Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and act as the technical liaison between the APM E, cross functional engineering teams, matrixed PMW personnel, and external PMWs.\n\nCoordinate development, tracking, and delivery of program prioritized Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Requests (CRs), reviewing impacts to technical interfaces, network boundaries, address allocations, and system baselines.\n\nPerform systems engineering services across the full project lifecycle, including requirements definition, system test and integration, design documentation, and incorporation of digital engineering models, decomposed technical requirements, and testable measures of performance.\n\nDevelop, update, and maintain system configuration documentation, troubleshooting guides, interface diagrams, and technical traceability artifacts.\n\nDevelop and revise system architectures to improve performance, stability, supportability, and long-term sustainability, ensuring mission level interoperability and accurate data flows across tactical networks.\n\nManage technical interfaces and coordination with external PMWs to ensure alignment, integration, and effective communication across programs.\n\nLead or support technical review events, including System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), SOVT verification reviews, Risk/Issue/Opportunity (RIO) adjudication, and the development of technical review action plans.\n\nSupport Tactical Network Platform (i.e., CANES) engineering, including topology design, switching/routing protocols, VLAN segmentation, virtualization baselines, and cybersecurity compliant configurations.\n\nSupport the engineering and integration of Tactical Network WAN (i.e., ADNS) boundaries, including policy routing, QoS, traffic shaping, and transport path selection for ship to shore WAN communications.\n\nAssess, track, and manage cyber, systems engineering, and test & evaluation risks throughout the program life cycle, escalating unresolved technical disagreements through the Technical Authority chain when necessary.\n\nGather operational feedback from fleet users and ISEAs and integrate fleet identified deficiencies into upcoming software releases and technical refreshes.\n\nYou Have:\n\nU.S. Citizenship\n\nPossession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance\n\nSix (6) years’ experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoW or Government Agency.\n\nMinimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting the engineering of Department of War/Department of Defense Tactical Networks.\n\nAbility to provide expert level knowledge in systems engineering and information technology.\n\nAbility to develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements.\n\nAbility to investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple organizations.\n\nAbility to develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability, including alignment with NAVWAR Technical Authority, Zero Trust, RMF, and CYBERSAFE requirements.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.\n\nStrong understanding of Cisco/Juniper routing and switching, firewall configurations, IP addressing, virtualization (VMware ESXi, vSAN), and software defined networking concepts used within Navy tactical enclaves.\n\nWorking knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies (e.g., SysML/Cameo) and familiarity with NAVWAR technical review processes and Navy certification pathways.\n\nEducation/Experience:\n\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required.\n\nMinimum of six (6) years’ professional experience in systems engineering\n\nWe
