DTC Area Manager

Job Description ABOUT USWe're a growing 3PL (third-party logistics) company dedicated to excellent service and innovative fulfillment solutions. At our Fairfield, OH facility (OH1), we're hiring a DTC Outbound Area Manager to lead our Direct-to-Consumer fulfillment operation — driving daily performance, managing a team of leads and associates, and making sure every single order ships accurately and on time.WHAT YOU'LL DOManage daily DTC outbound fulfillment performance — accuracy, on-time shipment, and order completeness across all shiftsLead, coach, and develop DTC team leads and their fulfillment crews to consistently hit performance targetsConduct team meetings, hold associates accountable to productivity and quality standards, and address performance issues directlyTrain new hires on DTC SOPs, picking and packing workflows, carrier requirements, and quality checksManage and optimize labor hours daily to meet revenue goals while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safetyMonitor order queues, wave planning, and packing stations to keep DTC flow moving without bottlenecksPartner cross-functionally with Inbound, Inventory, IT, and Client Relations to ensure DTC orders ship cleanlyEnforce compliance with carrier routing requirements, packaging standards, and DTC SLAs to prevent chargebacks and re-shipsIdentify and escalate operational risks, bottlenecks, and process gaps — then drive the fixSupport continuous improvement initiatives to reduce error rates, improve throughput, and lower cost per unitBe available and present during peak seasons, volume surges, and DTC client launchesParticipate in client calls and provide operational updates as neededWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORExperience: proven leadership in a high-volume DTC fulfillment, e-commerce, or 3PL environmentLeadership & Accountability: you develop your team, hold people to standards, and don't avoid hard conversationsDTC Knowledge: you understand consumer order fulfillment, carrier compliance, packaging standards, and SLA managementOperations Mindset: data-driven, floor-first leader who manages by metrics and coaches in the momentSafety: OSHA basics and a safety-first mindset — you protect your peopleCommunication: clear, professional, and direct — comfortable presenting updates to leadership and joining client callsBilingual: English/Spanish preferredPhysical: on your feet most of the shift · lift up to 50 lbs as neededWHY JOIN USDirect impact on DTC operations and client satisfaction from day oneLeadership Bonus Plan — your performance is rewardedCollaborative and supportive team environment at our OH1 facilityReal growth potential as our company continues to expand across multiple sitesBe part of a team that moves fast, solves problems, and gets things doneLeadership bonusCompany Description iDrive Fulfillment is a fast-growing, premium third-party logistics (3PL) provider serving well-known customers.
