{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"1df6dc853f0bc1b14ff2b01b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1df6dc853f0bc1b14ff2b01b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1df6dc853f0bc1b14ff2b01b","title":"Electro-Mechanical Assembler-Second Shift","description":"Job Description:\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:\nGeneral:\nUnder general supervision, perform various hands on mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and complete assembly operations of the Perfusion modules using standard manufacturing documentation and equipment.\nContribute to meeting production targets without compromising safety and quality.\nCollaborate with team members to maintain the pace of the production line and achieve expected out levels.\nMaintain stock in the appropriate kanban location and escalate before material runs out.\nRecommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices.\nAssist in basic troubleshooting of assembly processes and equipment under guidance of senior assemblers, supervisor, and engineers.\nFollow instructions from engineers and assist in the implementation of protypes or process changes.\nSupport Lean, Health and Safety Initiatives.\nPerform other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.\nQuality Control:\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team lead and quality control personnel to address any issues.\nFocus on quality and accuracy, ensuring that all work assignments meet corporate quality and regulatory requirements.\nWorkflow Coordination:\nMaintain individual work area / equipment in a neat, orderly manner according to standards including proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties. Serve as a strong team player supporting and assisting supervisor and colleagues when necessary.\nTraining and Development:\nParticipate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.\nDocumentation:\nMaintaining accurate records of assembly processes, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation. Initiate Non-Conforming Material (NCMR) when applicable.\nSafety Compliance:\nComply with safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe\nworking environment for team members.\nPerform other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.\nMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position manages the following positions on a daily basis.\nThis position will not have management responsibilities.\nPHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES\nAbility to walk, bend, reach and twist regularly during shift.\nAbility to lift, carry, push and pull materials or finished goods (typically 10-50 lbs.)\nAbility to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions.\nAbility to move packaged goods to pallets or conveyors as required.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent technical degree with 1-2 years minimal experience in electro-mechanical assembly environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.\nAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.\nAbility to assemble parts, properly position, align and fasten to assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and/or power tools.\nAbility to connect cables, tubes and wires according to basic written instructions.\nMust possess a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBasic understanding of assembly processes and techniques.\nFlexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nEvery Organ Wasted is a Life Not Saved.\nTransMedics, Inc. is a commercial-stage medical technology company transforming organ transplant therapy for patients worldwide.
