XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for a Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician!Location: Plainfield, IN 46168Pay: $25/hour | Full-TimeSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPosition SummaryThe Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician is the primary on-site maintenance resource, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining warehouse equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role serves as the go-to technician for resolving mechanical, electrical, and operational issues across facility systems and material handling equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments on warehouse equipment and systemsAct as the first point of contact for equipment breakdowns and urgent issuesTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsMaintain and repair balers, forklifts, conveyors, compactors, dock equipment, and other MHEConduct routine inspections to prevent downtimeCoordinate with vendors for specialized repairsMaintain accurate logs and work orders in CMMSSupport warehouse operations with timely maintenance responseAssist with equipment installation and relocationMaintain tools, parts inventory, and a clean work areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (warehouse or waste management preferred)Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with material handling equipment (balers, forklifts, conveyors, etc.)Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plusAbility to read schematics and electrical diagramsAble to lift 50 lbs and work at heights as neededComfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentWillingness to be on-call or work flexible shifts as neededSafety & ComplianceFollow all LOTO, PPE, and workplace safety protocolsParticipate in safety meetings and hazard identificationSupport sustainability goals through proper equipment maintenancePreferred TraitsSelf-starter with strong problem-solving abilityDependable and responsive under pressureStrong sense of urgency and ownershipTeam-oriented with good communication skillsCompany Hiring Requirements:E-VerifyDrug Test7 Background Year Background CheckBenefits:- Medical InsuranceIf you are interested in this position, apply directly here or contact us at Suzana@xlpronational.com
