ECFMG required for foreign medical graduates.Clinical Experience: New graduates acceptable: EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered. 3-month proctorship required.License: Active unrestricted VA Medical License and DEA w/ VA address & schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4 & 5Board Certification: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM), American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)American Board of Medical Specialties FM, IM, EM.Merit Badge: ACLS, ATLS and PALS if not BC in EM or EM trained. NRP for non-ABEM providers.Immunizations: MMR/Varicella (2) Vaccines or titers with values indicating immunity for MMR & Varicella. TB (past 12 months)or a QuantiFERON Gold indicating immunity within three months. 2nd TB test to be completed prior to activation and privileges given. Chest x-ray required within 3 months if positive for TB or positive QuantiFERON.
