Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.Responsibilities:Do CMM inspections on all parts in operation. (We have a Mitutoyo machine and a Keyence)Assist programmer and operator to troubleshoot and resolve CMM inspection issuesAssist Quality manager to calibrate equipmentAssist operators with specific finish issues that pertain to their partsGather data for first article inspection reportsLog and record readings for equipment and proceduresQualifications:High School diploma or GED required3 years minimum experience with CNC manufacturing facility1 year minimum experience with CMM operationsUnderstand GD&T and be able to interpret engineering drawingsFamiliarity with plant tools and equipmentStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and follow instructions and have good communication skillsCompany DescriptionNorth State Machine Inc. offers precision CNC and manual machining by qualified machinists, using the latest solid works and feature cam technology.Super clean, climate-controlled facility.
