Product Manager

Founded in 2017, Rabbet is a small, but growing team of ~25 employees is backed by QED Investors, Goldman Sachs, and Y Combinator.We're looking for a sharp, customer-obsessed Product Manager to work alongside our VP of Product—owning key problem areas end-to-end, driving adoption and outcomes, and becoming a trusted expert in our platform.What You'll DoProduct Discovery. Investigate complex domain areas (e.g., paydowns, retainage, compliance rules) to understand gaps between customer expectations and current behavior, then translate findings into clear, actionable work. Customer problem triage. Partner with customers and the Customer Success team to deeply understand customer issues, identifying the root problem, documenting workarounds in the existing product, and defining potential product solutions. Engineering partnership. Work closely with engineering to ensure the team has the problem context and business clarity to drive solutions collaboratively. Post-launch success. Define adoption metrics, build dashboards to track feature performance, and work with Product Marketing and CS to drive adoption after launch. GTM and sales enablement. Support product marketing and sales with enablement training and demo environment setup, serving as a credible product expert in customer-facing contexts. About YouBias for action and ownership: you work independently, create your own structure, and drive problems to resolution rather than passing them along. In a small team, everyone needs to move work forward, not just move information around. Strong customer instincts: you can lead discovery conversations, earn customer trust, and synthesize feedback into clear problem statements. You ask good questions and don't stop until you understand the "why". Comfort with complex domains: quickly become an expert in complex construction finance domain and Rabbet software. Uses AI tools strategically: to accelerate research, surface patterns, and sharpen insights, while bringing the judgment and critical thinking to know what to do with them. Data-oriented: comfortable defining success metrics, building dashboards, and synthesizing data insights to leadership and using data to drive action. 2–4 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS. A finance or business background, or prior experience in fintech, construction tech, or early-stage startups is a strong plus.
