This organization develops innovative products that support healthcare professionals and patient care across multiple markets nationwide.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants exposure to both accounting operations and business partnership responsibilities within a manufacturing/distribution setting.Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, support monthly and annual financial reporting activities, and help ensure accurate financial operations across the organization. This role will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesManage general accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements and supporting reportsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activitiesMaintain accuracy of inventory and distribution-related accounting processesSupport audit preparation and coordinate with external auditorsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controlsMonitor and improve accounting procedures and processesCollaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams on financial initiativesAssist with ERP system maintenance and reporting improvementsSupport ad hoc reporting and special projects as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4 to 6+ years of accounting experience in a professional business environmentExperience within manufacturing, distribution, healthcare products, medical device, or related industries strongly preferredStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reportingExperience with inventory and distribution accounting preferredERP system experience requiredGreat Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) experience is a plusStrong Excel and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred BackgroundIdeal candidates may come from:Medical device or healthcare manufacturingDistribution environmentsIndustrial or consumer products manufacturingMid-sized privately held companiesWhy Consider This OpportunityStable and growing organizationCollaborative team cultureOpportunity to make a visible impactCompetitive compensation and benefitsLong-term career growth potentialConfidential search conducted by a professional recruiting firm.
