This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data across global entities, supports technical accounting initiatives, and plays a key role in internal and external reporting processes.\r\nThis role supports a remote or hybrid schedule for candidates residing within the Eastern Time Zone.\r\nYou Will Make an Impact By\r\nParticipate in the monthly Consolidation of financial results for MKS and its subsidiaries in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.\r\nPreparation and review of complex recurring and adjusting journal entries, with a focus on accuracy, and continuous improvement.\r\nEnsure timely submission and accurate entry of all financial data - including Fixed Assets activity, Bookings, and other relevant metrics-into HFM.\r\nPopulate and model financial data across multiple scenarios to support management reporting and enable leadership to evaluate trends and make decisions.\r\nAnalyze consolidated financial data to ensure alignment with US GAAP and internal accounting policies, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving resolution across reporting entities.\r\nDesign, implement, and optimize consolidated reporting tools (Hyperion forms, grids, Reports) and processes, to help enhance visibility, accuracy, and usability of financial data for internal stakeholders.\r\nServe as a liaison for HFM finance users, providing guidance and training on HFM consolidation procedures, accounting treatments, and system usage to ensure consistent and compliant reporting.\r\nAssist in the development and maintenance of standardized procedures to ensure efficient system operations, robust processes and controls, and accurate financial reporting.\r\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, supporting SOX compliance and audit readiness through documentation, testing, and remediation activities.\r\nReview user access requests and communicate to Consolidation Manager for provisioning.\r\nParticipate in merger and acquisition integration efforts within HFM, including validation of data, ensure accurate and complete migration of data from source ERP systems through the FDMEE module into HFM.\r\nSkills You Bring\r\nBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.\r\n3+ yrs experience\r\nFinancial statement preparation and consolidation in a multinational group or consultancy firm with an emphasis on US GAAP.\r\nHands-on experience with consolidation tools (e.g., HFM, SAP BPC, OneStream).\r\nMicrosoft Excel skills at an advanced level.\r\nDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels and contribute meaningfully to team efforts.\r\nExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise guidance and instructions to subsidiaries and cross functional teams.\r\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\r\nPerform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time\r\nRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination\r\nMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand\r\nMust be able to exchange accurate information\r\nThe ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)\r\nOperates in a professional office environment\r\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery\r\nNoise level in the work environment is usually average\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nSalary Pay Range: $65,000 - $115,000 per year.
