Love your job.\nJoin TI's Advanced Technology Development organization, focused on state-of-the-art semiconductor technology development. We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate or early-career professional to join our experienced technology reliability development team. In this role, you will perform TCAD simulation, characterization, and modeling of transistor reliability mechanisms.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nTCAD device simulation for device reliability optimization.\n\nAssess the impact of process/layout on transistor reliability.\n\nDevelop Reliability Models based on data and underlying degradation kinetics.\n\nPerform Bench testing and collect data\n\nDevelop new test capability using parametric analyzers and bench equipment\n\nLong term package level testing for reliability modeling\n\nBTI process optimization for advanced analog/CMOS nodes\nThe person performing this role must be capable to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.\n\nQualifications\n\nPhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related degree\n\nCumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\nKnowledge of semiconductor device physics and reliability\n\nStrong analytical and programming skills (Python, MATLAB etc.)\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\n\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\n\nWorking well in a team environment is imperative in this role.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships\n\nGood listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\n\nAbout Us\nWhy TI?\n\nEngineer your future.
