We have a variety of shifts (see below) including days, nights, and weekends. This is a great position for high energy self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals that enjoy a fast-paced production environment. The primary task of the Material Handler is to work with raw materials, monitor production lines, complete quality checks, and move finished goods into inventory.\n\nYour contribution is valued-we are a locally-owned business with a team atmosphere. We know your time is important-you will earn shift differential for qualifying shifts.\n\nJOB DUTIES\n\nMonitor level of production materials and load resin or other materials as needed\nMove products using sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack\nQuality check and quality audit products to ensure high quality finished goods\nRecord quality information onto company documents and in electronic tracking system\nMove finished goods into inventory and accurately record location\nStack finished goods into columns\nBuild boxes and lids\nMaintain a clean work environment\nUse of company smart phone during work time to scan and record information about finished product and inventory\nAssist other departments as needed\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\n\nWarehousing, production, or material handling\nWorks well with others and a team player\nEnjoys fast-pace environment\nStrong communication skills\nStrong reading and writing skills-electronic documentation throughout shift will be required\nAbility to learn/use company programs using mobile phone technology\nSelf-motivated\nDetailed and organized\nDedicated, dependable- regular work attendance is expected and rewarded\nPrior Forklift Experience preferred\nMust follow company food safety requirements\nAbility to lift 50 lbs without assistance\nAbility to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time\nAbility to use ladders, climb up and down sit-down forklift\nAbility to multi-task\nAbility to work independently\n\nOvertime may be available by picking up extra shifts with management approval.\n\nTraining:\nTraining schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm for approximately 3 weeks. Once training is complete, new employee would move to the shift they are hired to work. No rotating shifts, shifts are set hours.\n\nAvailable shifts:\n\nWeekday Nightshift-$1.25/hour shift differential\n\nMonday-Wednesday 7pm-7am\nThursday 7pm-1am\nWeekend Nightshift-$2.50/hour shift differential\nFriday 1am-7am\nFriday-Sunday 7pm-7am\nWork may be required on holidays that fall during regular work schedule; additional pay will be applied per company policy.\n\nCOMPENSATION\n\nThis full-time position includes our comprehensive benefit package of Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and 401k plan. Start earning PTO on day one!\nQuarterly attendance bonus; receive additional pay for being on-time\nWe offer a competitive starting wage of $22/hour starting base pay + applicable shift differential\n\nWe are looking for employees that are interested in long-term careers!
