A hybrid working model is acceptable.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead development and modernization of cloud-based applications and data solutions within a large financial services environment.\nCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions in AWS technologies.\nDevelop and enhance cloud-based applications and data processes throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nUtilize technologies such as Python, SQL, AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and related AWS services to build robust solutions.\nApply AI-assisted development techniques and test automation to improve development speed and quality.\nWork with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle to support enterprise data needs.\nParticipate in Agile development practices, troubleshooting, testing, and implementing enterprise applications or data solutions.\nCollaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and technology teams.\nAdhere to enterprise development standards and best practices for reusable components and software engineering.\n\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of Python software development experience.\nHands-on experience in AWS cloud environments with solutions involving AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, ECS, EMR, Redshift, DMS, S3, SQS/SNS, and RDS.\nStrong programming skills in Python and/or Java, with solid SQL proficiency.\nExperience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.\nUnderstanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.\nExperience in developing, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying enterprise applications or data solutions.\nFamiliarity with test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.\nAbility to employ AI-assisted development tools to accelerate SDLC activities.\nExcellent collaboration skills with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams.\nKnowledge of enterprise development standards and software engineering best practices.\nFinancial services experience is a plus.\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
