That difference is where you come in.At Alpha, students in grades K–2 complete their academic learning through AI-powered applications in a two-hour block each day. No traditional lessons. No paper exercises. Half of your time is spent facilitating one-hour workshops on life skills—public speaking, concentration, and how to give and receive feedback. A structured playbook is provided, but top performers in this role customize it to suit their group and create new exercises when the playbook falls short. The other half of your time is spent in one-on-one or small-group sessions, where you analyze Coachbot data and guide each child to reach 100% of their weekly app targets. Challenge signals your belief in their potential.A successful quarter means every student completes their weekly app targets, passes the Test2Pass assessment for every life-skills workshop, and at least 90% report that they love you. Fall short on any of those three metrics and the role has not been fulfilled. In your first year, you will master the playbook; once you demonstrate consistent execution, you become eligible for promotion to Lead Guide, where you mentor new hires while continuing to manage your own cohort.If you are drawn to conventional teaching methods, prefer fully scripted curriculum, or view warmth and rigor as incompatible, this role is not a fit. Apply today.What You Will Be DoingFacilitating one-hour life-skills workshops for K–2 cohorts on topics such as public speaking, focus, and feedback, tailoring the provided playbook to your group rather than following it verbatim.Conducting daily one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions to ensure every student stays on track for weekly app targets, leveraging Coachbot analytics, Alpha's motivational tools (school currency, leaderboards), and the personal connection you establish with each child.Administering Test2Pass, Alpha's mastery-based life-skills assessment, and coaching students who do not initially pass until they achieve mastery.Engaging kindergarteners at their developmental level with songs, movement, storytelling, and playfulness, while maintaining rigorous, measurable expectations for first and second graders.Serving as the warm, welcoming adult children are excited to see each morning AND the adult who will not allow them to underperform.What You Won’t Be DoingDelivering whiteboard lectures. Academic content is delivered through the apps, not by you.Creating curriculum from the ground up. Alpha supplies the playbook; you animate it.Passively monitoring children at computers. Motivation in this role is hands-on, individualized, and persistent.Adjusting a weekly target downward so a child can meet it. When a student falls behind, the solution is supporting the student, not lowering the bar.Grading assignments, preparing for standardized tests, or handling parent outreach.
