This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and implementing application features across Java/Spring backend services and Angular 15+ user interfaces in an Agile Scrum environment.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a practical full-stack developer who can work confidently in a large enterprise codebase, understand existing business rules, and deliver secure, maintainable, and well-tested solutions across the frontend, backend, and database layers.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Maven.\n* Develop and enhance Angular 15+ applications using TypeScript, RxJS, reactive forms, routing, reusable components, services, and frontend state management patterns.\n* Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UI workflows that support complex Federal business processes.\n* Integrate Angular frontend features with backend REST APIs, including request/response handling, validation, error messaging, and loading states.\n* Develop and maintain relational database logic using SQL, JPA repositories, and database query optimization techniques.\n* Troubleshoot full-stack issues across Angular screens, Java services, APIs, authentication, database logic, and deployment environments.\n* Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests using tools such as JUnit, Spring Boot Test, Jasmine, Karma, and related frameworks.\n* Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, peer reviews, and technical design discussions.\n* Collaborate with distributed teams, QA analysts, product owners, DevOps engineers, architects, and Federal stakeholders.\n* Support modernization efforts by refactoring legacy code, improving maintainability, strengthening test coverage, and reducing technical debt.\n* Ensure solutions follow secure coding practices, Section 508 accessibility expectations, and enterprise development standards.\n\n*Required Skills and Abilities*\n\n* Strong hands-on experience with Angular 15+ and TypeScript.\n* Strong understanding of Angular components, services, modules, routing, forms, RxJS observables, dependency injection, and reusable UI patterns.\n* Experience building enterprise Angular applications with complex forms, grids, search screens, validation rules, and API-driven workflows.\n* Strong Java development experience, preferably with Java 11 or later.\n* Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC/REST, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Maven.\n* Strong SQL and relational database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise databases.\n* Solid understanding of REST API design, JSON, validation, error handling, and service-layer architecture.\n* Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers.\n* Familiarity with application security concepts such as authentication, authorization, role-based access, LDAP, SAML, or JWT.\n* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal communication skills.\n* Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed Agile team.\n* Ability to read and safely enhance existing code without introducing regressions.\n\n*Basic Qualifications*\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline;
