We provide ourselves with building a teamwork atmosphere where team members can thrive.\nMickeys Linen is seeking an experienced Accountant supporting the company Controller and leadership Team by providing timely financial reports and recommendations. They will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of our financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a high level of expertise in accounting, general ledger responsibilities, financial reporting, and accounting software. They will be responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are adhered and preparing accurate and timely financial reporting. Must have the ability to reduce risks related to internal controls over the accounting functions with the ability to improve efficiency and timeliness within the accounting process.\nKey Responsibilities of the Accountant Role:\nMaintain and manage all aspects of the general ledger.\nPerform full cycle accounts of payable and receivable processes.\nReconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.\nGenerate and analyze financial statements and reports for leadership review.\nPrepare and file sales tax returns, 401(k) as well as other required financial reports.\nConduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.\nWork closely with external auditors during annual audits.\nProvide support and guidance to other staff members on accounting issues\nSkills and Experiences We're Looking For:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification is desirable.\nMinimum of five to seven years of corporate accounting experience in maintaining the general ledger and related financial reports on a timely basis.
