This is an opportunity for experienced millwork professionals who understand the full project lifecycle and can successfully coordinate customers, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field installation.The RoleThe Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned projects, serving as the primary point of coordination between the customer and internal project teams.This individual will manage projects from initial handoff through engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, and closeout, with responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial architectural millwork projects from award through final completionReview contracts, drawings, specifications, scope, and project requirementsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plansServe as the primary point of contact for general contractors, customers, vendors, and project stakeholdersCoordinate closely with Engineering and Drafting throughout the submittal and shop drawing processManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, field dimensions, material approvals, and project documentationCoordinate material procurement, manufacturing schedules, deliveries, and installation requirementsPartner with Production to ensure fabrication aligns with project schedules and field requirementsCoordinate with field teams and installers to support successful installation and project completionMonitor project costs, labor, change orders, and overall financial performanceIdentify project risks and proactively resolve schedule, scope, quality, or coordination issuesMaintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates on project statusManage punch list and closeout activities through final completionIdeal Background5+ years of Project Management experience within architectural millwork, commercial casework, custom cabinetry, or a closely related specialty construction environmentStrong understanding of commercial architectural millwork manufacturing and installationExperience managing complex commercial construction projects from award through closeoutAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documentsStrong knowledge of submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, fabrication, and field installation processesExperience working directly with general contractors and other commercial construction stakeholdersStrong financial understanding of project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and change managementExcellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and client management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with project management, ERP, and construction software preferredEqual Opportunity EmployerMicro-Cap Solutions and our clients are equal opportunity employers and are committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
