Truck Driver Class A CDL - Manual Transmission Only - Plant City, FL

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our growing family-owned & operated company: Tropical Sales of Florida LLC. We are located in Plant City, FL and have delivery lanes to the following areas in Florida: Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, Haines City, Lakeland, Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota, Naples & Ft Myers. We deliver fresh produce Monday-Saturday.Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission. Driver Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently operate a Class A commercial vehicle with manual transmission (recent experience required - road test will be given)Transport fresh produce to various destinations in a timely mannerPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicleAdhere to all traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate driving logs and recordsCommunicate with dispatch regularlyEnsure the safe and secure unloading and delivery of fresh produceQualifications:Valid Class A CDL with recent manual transmission experienceClean driving recordStrong communication skills; Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not requiredReliable and dependableThis is a full-time position. Regular routes start at 5:00AM Monday-Saturday. Trucks are pre-loaded. Off Sundays and one other day during the week. Home daily. Minimum 40 hours guaranteed based on attendance.
