Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a Contract W2 opportunity with Amazee Global Ventures Inc. The below job description is a senior machine learning engineer-level position. Job Title: Senior machine learning engineer Job Type: Contract W2 Job Mode: On site Location: Portland, OR Duration: 12+ months (long-term possible) Pay Rate: $60/hr on Contract W2 Experience- 15+ years Responsibilities: * Design machine learning systems and models and implement algorithms * Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate techniques and algorithms suitable for the task * Run machine learning tests and experiments * Design robust machine learning systems that can handle a combination of data types (text, tables, images, etc.) * Leverage state-of-art generative AI toolsets (RAG, prompts, etc.) to solve complex natural language problems * Build data and model pipelines for transparency and governance * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and devise possible solutions * Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions, leveraging Microsoft's AI services * Participate in fast-paced proof-of-concepts to refine solution design * Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or related field; Master's or PhD preferred * Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role * Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms * Ability to write robust code in Python, C#, or another language * Expertise with deep learning frameworks for natural language processing * Experience with language foundation models and techniques to customize foundation models to specific use cases * Familiarity with CI/CD in model lifecycle management * Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn) * Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work in a team * Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills EEO Policy Statement: Amazee Global Ventures Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
