This will be a 30 day trial to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program.\nKey Job Responsibilities\nAssist in performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of\nexperienced technicians.\nLearn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.\nParticipate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.\nCollaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.\nFollow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.\nEducation and/or Experience Required\nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred\nTrade/Vocational school graduates preferred\nSome on-the-job experience is preferred\nI-CAR Gold Class preferred\nRequired Skills and Abilities\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time in the repair of a vehicle\nMust be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nMust be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.\nMust be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts.\nStrong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop technical skills.\nAbility to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment\nBasic knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools is preferred but not required\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nGood communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving\nReliable transportation to commute to the workplace\nOther Requirements\nMaintain a good rapport with all supervisors and co-workers\nComply with all Company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.\nPresent a friendly, pleasant, accommodating, cheerful, courteous, helpful, and outgoing disposition toward fellow employees\nat all times.\nPromote a positive spirit of teamwork within the company\nMaintain a well-groomed appearance.\nMaintain a clean, organized work area at all times\nPerform all assigned activities according to the Standardized Operating Procedures of the company.\nContinuously strive to improve the efficiency of the production department and overall company operation, and be willing to\nparticipate in company meetings.\nParticipate in training programs as required to maintain the technical and professional skills and techniques necessary for\nthis position.\nExtend normal working hours as necessary to accommodate workload and customer requirements.\nRequirements to Qualify for Entry into TDP\nMentor agrees to accept trainee\nZero unplanned absences\nZero Tardiness violations\nHas worked with selected mentor for 90% or more of the 30-day time frame\nTrainee passes final Pre-TDP assessment\nMentor signs training agreement\nPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
